Formats
We can accept art file in
either Mac or PC format.
Mac: Illustrator, Freehand, Corel Draw, Quark, Photoshop,
and EPS
PC: Illustrator, Corel Draw, EPS, Photopaint
We prefer Illustrator
or Corel Draw files
Color & File Set-Up
Spot Color Jobs: Set all colors as Pantone® (up to
7 colors max)
4-Color Process: Set colors to CMYK. Be sure that all
files linked to the final document have the exact same
color names for any identical colors.
Never use less than a 5% screen.
Document size: Please prepare
your file to one of the following sizes:

Don't worry about setting any
traps or bleeds; we will take care of that here before sending
your proof.
Images
The minimum resolution for
color images is 300 dpi. Please do not increase the resolution
of a lower resolution image without re-scanning to actual size.
Poor images will be rejected or you will be asked to sign a waiver.
If you do not have access to graphic services, send us your original
picture and we will scan it for you at NO CHARGE!
Typography
For legibility, regular type
should be no smaller than 4 point, and reverse type no smaller
than 6 point and in bold. Note: print will always look better
if you use the actual typeface (bold, italic, etc) instead of
using the program style menu. Be sure to include both screen
and printer fonts when submitting art files. If fonts are not
available, convert the entire file to curves/outlines prior to
sending.

The Proofing Process
Spot Color
Orders: You
will receive an email within 24 hours of your order submission,
of a color art proof sheet. Please print this document and make
any required changes or sign your approval and fax it back to
us. If you do not have access to a fax machine, you can reply
via email noting any changes or approval.
4-Color Process
Orders:
When submitting a process file, please send along a color proof
for comparison. We will provide a Fuji Digital proof via Next
Day Air at no charge.
